Middle Technical Operations Engineer (Linux System Administrator)

Требования:System administration work experience 3+ years
Advanced Linux / Unix experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Pre-Intermediate or higher level of written English
Strong knowledge of LAMP stacks, including the installation, configuration, and high load optimization
Strong understanding of Email, DNS systems principles
Basic understanding of cPanel / WHM
Databases: MySQL based - middle+ knowledge, PostgreSQL - would be an advantage, NoSQL based - basic knowledge
Virtualization experience (KVM, VMware, Xen)
Basic containerization experience: LXC, Docker
a) Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP / IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP)

b) IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts

c) Basic knowledge of routing protocols - BGP, OSPF

d) Switches: Basic Configuration & VLAN setup

Basic Scripting / automation (Unix shell, Python, Perl, etc.)
Experience in hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk, ISP system, etc.)
Understanding of how to build / support and optimize load balancing, high availability and fault tolerance clusters
Understanding of security
Have excellent written and good verbal communication skills, and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team
Able to promptly respond to inquiries via email, instant messaging, ticketing systems and other electronic communications
Have a strong will for self-development
Strong focus on self-education and self-motivation, team player with a keen desire to help others
Will be an advantage

Previous education in the field of IT would be an asset
Experience with distributed storages and network filesystems
Experience with high load, high availability and fault tolerance
Experience in DDoS mitigation
Квалификация:Build, maintain and monitor infrastructure servers and services, keep their performance and stability on the highest level
Troubleshoot and investigate global technical issues our internal systems / servers may have
Performing requests from other departments: Technical Support, Customer Support, Legal and Abuse department
Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge as well as knowledge of technologies you work with
Optimize technical processes / procedures to make them more efficient and easier both for clients and the team
Share technical knowledge with Сustomer Support and Technical Support representatives to help them develop and grow in the technical area to join the Technical Operations team
Be engaged in continuous training and self-education in such areas as English Communication, Technical Knowledge and Skills
